How to Change Drive Letter in Windows XP

                         
This is a tip/trick that's quite unique, which we can change the drive letter in Windows XP, for example, drive D converted into drive Z or using any other letters.

This way you can do on drives other than drive C. For more details, follow these steps:

- Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management.

- In Computer Management, see on the left, click Disk Management.

How to Change Drive Letter in Windows XP

- Furthermore, on the right will appear a list of drives on your computer. Right-click a drive that you want to change its drive letter, then select Change Drive Letter and Paths.

- In the Change Drive Letter and Paths dialog box, click the Change button, then choose the letter you want to use. Do not forget to click the OK button to finish it.

It's easy, isn't it? If you want to restore to the original drive letter, simply repeat the steps above and change back to the original drive letter.
